Privacy notice

Last updated September 2026

This notice explains what personal information Go Live Data Ltd collects when you use Fleet Count, why we collect it, and your rights. We are the data controller for the information described here, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZA754764, and a member of the Data & Marketing Association (DMA).

Who we are

Go Live Data Ltd, 47 Newton Street, Manchester M1 1FT. Email chat@go-data.com, phone +44 (0)333 188 7720.

What we collect about you

  • Your name and work email address, from Google or Microsoft when you sign in.
  • What you tell us when you ask for access: company, phone number (optional), what you sell and why you want access.
  • The counts you run, save, share, download and request, so you can come back to them and so we can fulfil data requests.
  • Error reports when something goes wrong on screen, including the page you were on.
  • Basic technical information needed to keep the service secure, such as sign-in times.

The fleet data you see

Fleet Count shows anonymised counts of UK businesses and vehicles. No business names, company numbers, websites or full postcodes are shown to customers, and groups of fewer than 3 businesses are hidden.

Why we use your information

  • To give you an account and decide whether to approve access (our legitimate interest in running a business service, and to take steps before entering a contract).
  • To provide counts, saved counts and data requests (to perform our contract with you).
  • To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems (legitimate interest).
  • To improve the service by looking at which searches are used most (legitimate interest).

Who we share it with

We use trusted suppliers to host the service and its database (within the UK or EEA, or with appropriate safeguards), to provide sign-in (Google and Microsoft), and to read plain-English searches. We do not sell your personal information. Colleagues at your own company can see counts you choose to share with your team.

How long we keep it

We keep your account while it is active. Usage records are kept for up to 12 months. Recent counts are limited to your last 20. Data requests are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
